Gateways to new audiences
Our unique concept of attaching information about world cultures and by enabling audiences to participate in causes that improve cross-cultural relations worldwide opens up unique gateways to new audiences for filmmakers. Films that may have short shelf life through conventional distribution channels can expand both their audience reach as their revenue stream by working with Culture Wrap. We tailor every campaign to suit your film and wishes. Contact us to see what we can do for your film.

We support filmmakers from cultural and indigenous communities who make films about world cultures or the issues that play in their own community by:

  • assisting them to get their film into theaters, community centers, school and homes worldwide
  • assisting them to make their films (fundraising and production support)
  • assisting emerging filmmakers in learning more about filmmaking from idea to distribution
  • connecting them to funding resources, both traditional grant givers as well as audience members who want to support a specific film project

community screenings

Most of the films we support can be available for a screening at a community center. Combined with a World Culture Event package and the Charitable Projects booth your project is turned into an entertainment event and a worthwhile contribution to any community around the world.

school and campus screenings

Your film can be made available for a screening at a school or on a campus. Many schools from K-12 to colleges, are looking for films that have multicultural and educational aspects to them. We  supply schools with study guides that are produced with your collaboration and approval.

Especially for a Campus Event, your film combined with a World Culture Event package and the Charitable Projects booth your project is turned into an entertaining educational event and a worthwhile contribution to any community around the world.

home screening party

Once a film has followed the traditional route of distribution through movie theaters, TV screenings and DVD release, your film can be part of the  Culture Wrap Party program. Films chosen by the public from the centerpiece of a Culture Wrap Home Screening Party at an individuals house. They invite friends and family to watch a film from our World Cinema collection. They introduce them to members of the local  community from the culture they just watched in the film. They watch the film, cook and eat together and hopefully become friends. After the screening, your films DVD and other merchandise of your film can be purchased right then and there. Besides enjoying the film, they can also contribute to the charitable and educational project that you help choose to connected to your film.    More info.

Our subtitling and other localization services help ‘translate’ your film and its message perfectly to each specific country, community and the languages they speak. Subtitling is an art and often neglected and underestimated by the current film industry. We pride ourselves in finding the right wording that perfectly conveys the message you intended your film.

connect and contribute

These 2 words are two major elements that make us unique for your film to find extended audiences.

By connecting charitable
cross-cultural or educational projects to your film, you do not only show the circumstances of the chosen community or subject in your film, but you also extend your films’ reach to actively change their circumstances for the better.

We like to support films and filmmakers that contribute to the same communities that enable them to share their story on screen. This way your project is more than just entertainment, and you can help actively improve their lives while sharing their stories with the world.

We can connect you to existing projects or help you set up new projects needed in the community you portray on screen. Contact us
