It’s always wise to be mindful when giving to charity. Although we support the causes of all organizations mentioned on our web site, we advise you to always check out an organization before you support them, as well as require accountability of the organizations you support. In the USA, you can check out an organization with the local charity registration office (usually a division of the state attorney general's office). Please find a similar organization in your country to review a charity that you like to support.

Support Buddha’s Lost Children
An essential part of making this film, for the film makers, is to raise awareness and continued funding for housing and education for the children depicted in the film. EMS FILMS has individually dedicated a percentage of the film's world wide-revenue's to support the construction of the new school and sustained social work of the principals of The Golden Horse Temple and their community of orphans. There are many worthwhile projects around the world that support education for all. We can connect you to those schools and organizations around the world or you can support those projects in a variety of ways.
Some of the projects need financial support or school supplies. Other seek collaboration with teachers or offer student collaboration opportunities. They are all projects the students, parents and teachers can get involved in.
In many countries, education is difficult to get for children and adults alike and in most circumstances education forms a safe refuge from other hardships in their community . It is for this reason that we have included adult learning projects as well.

Bolivia is the poorest country in South America. Approximately sixty percent of the 8,5 million Bolivians live in great poverty. Although eighty-five percent of the adults in the cities can read and write the literacy in the rest of the country is not as advanced and about one third of the adults are illiterate. One large problem is the exclusion or non-acceptance of the indigenous people (the Bolivian Indians) who make up about half the population.
