BUDDHA’S LOST CHILDREN

We enable film audiences to connect and contribute to culturally diverse communities in their own neighborhoods as well as around the world by

  • bringing them together at film screenings, at film events and through our website

We support charitable projects that promote cross-cultural understanding and collaboration by

  • giving them exposure at film screenings, at film events and on our website
  • filming selected projects to show other cultures or communities with similar problems solutions that work for others

 about us

Projects

The charitable projects that we connect to the films we produce and support are all focused on improving the lives of cultural communities around the world and aim to improve cross-cultural relations between diverse communities.
We believe that education, and assisting in building of self-sustainable and healthy living environments are the corner stones of a peaceful world. The projects we support all include one or more of those elements.

Fund a film

We enable film audiences to participate in the production of films. You can support a film by donating funds or offer in-kind support.

Send a child to school

We believe education is one of the pillars that supports peace and evolution for mankind. Is our believe that by helping the less fortunate to a good education it will improve all of our lives. Here you can find projects where your help can send a child to school.

connect and contribute

We encourage filmmakers as well to connect charitable
cross-cultural or educational projects to their film and thus they contribute to the same communities that enable them to share their story on screen. Filmmakers, read more on the For Filmmakers section.

film & fundraisers

You can contribute and enjoy cinema at the same time. Attend one of our screening events or organize an event at you local community center, school or even at your home. We can help you organize an event or supply you with the films and support to any event you organize yourself.

community screenings

Most of the films we support can be available for a screening at your local community center. Combined with a World Culture Event package and the Charitable Projects booth your community turns entertainment into a worthwhile contribution to the world.

host a wrap party at your home

Or host a Culture Wrap Party at your house and invite your friends and family to watch a film from our World Cinema collection. Introduce them to members of the local community from the culture you just watched in the film. Watch together, cook and eat together and become friends. After the screening, your friends can buy the DVD and other merchandise of the film they just watched. From the information package we supply you with, they can also contribute right to the charitable and educational project that are connected to the particular film you chose.   More info.
