That is why our message stays in English everywhere, recognizable with the three C's:

We believe that a beautiful media project can bring you closer to people you might otherwise never meet.
That is why Culture Wrap still combines films as before, but now also all kinds of stage performances
with initiatives in which you can become actively involved.
This is what we do:
Cinema & Theater: We present films and theater projects that you can always recognize by one of these two things:

Connect with Culture Next, we put you in touch with the people from that culture.
Contribute
In addition, we offer you the opportunity to turn that introduction into action, with initiatives through which you help build a better world — both yours and that of others.

This year we celebrate 20 YEARS OF CULTURE WRAP with the re-release of:
Buddha’s Lost Children (remastered)
In 2007, we made a big impression with this beautiful Dutch documentary during their Oscar campaign in the United States.
Now, almost 20 years later, a remastered version is being released in the Netherlands, with new footage of how the young monks, who became crowd favorites all over the world, are doing now, 20 years later.

Synopsis: In the rugged border region of Thailand's 'Golden Triangle', notorious for drug smuggling and ethnic mountain tribes, Buddhist monk Phra Khru Bah, once a successful Thai boxer, dedicates his life to underprivileged children.
On horseback, he travels through villages to bring healthcare and education where the government fails to do so. With his Golden Horse Temple, the so-called Tiger Monk built an orphanage, school, and hospital: a safe haven where the children see him as a shaman, father, and coach all in one.
Buddha's Lost Children is a unique and moving portrait of life in the Golden Triangle, and gives "practical" Buddhism a new meaning.
